It doesn't get any better than this..

Well, life is moving forward with full force! After 5 years at Utah State, two semesters at BYU Hawaii, and 1 year at Weber State, Ben finally graduated!! This achievement is not only momentous, but monumental! I don't know that many can comprehend the number of hours, sleepless nights, and gruesome tests Ben endured. No need to continue to focus on the horrible aspects, because the end has come! Less than a month after graduation he even got a job offer from Autoliv. He has been an intern there for the past 2 years or so and they offered him a full time position with great salary, benefits, and time off. We are officially growing up. Now I just need to complete my masters degree (1 year left) and we will finally be done being students.

This summer has simply been amazing. Last summer I was working weekends frequently, so weekend activities were far and few between. This year we have done something fun every weekend, it is great. Some high lights have been:
  • Weekend trip to Park City with the Caspersons, Jardines, Travellers, and the Butters. This trip was a blast. We all went on a shopping spree, ate some great meals, and enjoyed some quality time together.
  • Hikes and surprises! I have lived in Logan for 5 years now and have never hiked the Crimson Trail. I have definitely been missing out. It is a beautiful hike. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon the Jardines and Ben and I went for a hike and a picnic up the trail. Now for the surprise part.. Les Miserables was playing at the Capitol Theater. So, Ben and Brady surprised Jenna and I with last minute tickets. Well, I say Ben and Brady, but I think Ben just tagged along :). It was a great surprise and a great Broadway show!
  • Ragnar Wasatch Back! This race is beginning to be a fun family tradition! As crazy as it sounds to run a 200 mile relay, it is a blast. Two of my brother were signed up to run, but were unable to so we convinced Brady and Jenna to sign on! Our team did really well. We finished in 29 hours and 29 minutes. The actual race is painful; your muscles ache, your stomach is churning, and you are simply exhausted. But the next day everyone is ready to sign up for another one! I don't exactly know how to explain that phenomena, but it is keeping us all in somewhat good shape. Right?
Phew.. that blog post is over.. Blogging needs to be more user friendly. It takes me forever! That is why I only update every 3 months or so :)
